PLEASE NOTE: My website was hacked and it's now kind of back except for images; I'm in the process of switching hosts, so I'm not going to fix things here -- so pardon my dust for another week! And if you visited any time recently, nope... I did not start a casino in the meantime! But I do feel like I unlocked a life achievement by finally getting attacked by the Internet Overlords.

VIDEO: Web Conference at Penn State – People are (s)Talking Presenation

web conference at penn state logoI had the pleasure of speaking at the 2013 Web Conference at Penn State in early June. My presentation, “People are (s)Talking: How to Get Users to Participate and Not Just Spectate” was part of the marketing track.

To put icing on the cake, my session was the one in its time slot selected to be live-streamed my mStoner. The live-stream was also recorded and I’d like to share it here.

As with most of my presentations, I get to share all of the great things Elizabethtown College is doing with social media, thanks in part to an awesome community and extremely supporting leadership.  I also mentioned how some of the features of our content management system, OUCampus help us share socially.

The Web Conference at Penn State was fantastic. I would like to blog about the rest of my experience, too. One of my goals this summer is to get back to blogging, but I’ve said that before. Nudge me, people!
